This type of yoga is all about long held, static stretches. It is the polar opposite to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga; think Yin and Yang; everything in balance. It is deeply relaxing and meditative, uses props, and will improve mobility and flexibility in leaps and bounds. As we age, Yin becomes increasingly important to keep our joints, bones, and connective tissues healthy and young. The stronger your muscles get, the more you need to balance this with flexibility for optimum health and performance. Don't miss out on being your best by underestimating the importance of mobility! Yin builds flexibility like nothing else, will help you sleep, and through targeting our joints we can keep doing and enjoying our hobbies for longer in life and slow down the inevitable process of ageing that none of us can avoid. This class ends with a small pranayama practice. Bring your mat, warm clothes and layer up, a blanket, and any yoga props you have like blocks and bolsters.

If there is no waiting list I will not request a missed class be paid for if it has been booked and not cancelled. If you paid in advance and cancelled prior to the class, your payment will still roll over to the next class.
